ASSA PROVIDES INTEL TO WASHINGTON POST ON IMPACT OF RISING CHINA DOMINANCE IN NAVAL SHIPBUILDING

Recently, ASSA was contacted by a reporter from the Washington Post to provide input on a story they were developing on the rising dominance of China in naval shipbuilding. Led by ASSA CEO Roger Camp, the executive committee, together with members of the ASSA government relations committee, joined together to develop a white paper to address these issues. While ASSA did not receive any quotes or credits for the story, we did provide intel and created tremendous awareness for ASSA with this media group. The white paper outlined the current state of U.S. and Chinese shipbuilding capacities, the impact of global market dynamics on U.S. shipyards, and the strategic importance of maintaining a robust domestic shipbuilding suppliers industry. Special thanks to all of the members who contributed to this report. Click here for the story.
